How do I upload an assigment?

Mobile Application
Using the mobile application, enter STEMboard by clicking the "I am a teacher" tab. Login using your school Gmail account. At the bottom of the page, you will find the "paper" icon. Select the icon and title your assignment under "New Assignment." Click the "Upload Assignment" tab to upload an assignment from your photo library or Google Drive. Select the periods to assign the assignment. Click "Share" and your assignment will be available on Google Classroom.

Using the www.mystemboard.com website, login using your school Gmail account. Click on the "Assignments" tab and title your assignment under "Name Assignment." Select the periods to assign your assignment using the "Period" drop down menu. Click "Upload File" to upload a file from your device. Click "Save" and your assignment will be available on Google Classroom.

How do I attach a support video to my student's work?

At the bottom of the student assignment, click the "+" icon. In the "Search" section type a word that is related to the desired math topic. Ex. linear, equation, ratio, etc. From the video selection, select the desired support video. Click the "submit" icon at the top of the student work. The teacher feedback and support video will now be available to the student.

I have uploaded the incorrect support video. How do I change the video I have uploaded?

How do I assign work to specific students?

At this time, you are unable to assign assignments to specific students. Once your assignment is created and assigned to a period in STEMboard, you can access the assignment directly through Google Classroom and assign the assignment to specific students, and make edits as needed.

How do I edit an assignment after creating the assignment?

Can my students use the whiteboard for assigments that were not created through STEMboard?

Students and teachers can only use the whiteboard on assignments that were created through STEMboard. Assignments that were created on Google Classroom cannot be edited using the STEMboard digital whiteboard.

What document formats can be used in STEMboard?

STEMboard is compatible with jpg and pdf document formats.

What devices are compatible with STEMboard?

STEMboard can be accessed on IOS and Android devices, as well as devices with web browsing capabilities (e.g. Chromebooks, laptops, desktops, etc.)

How do I submit my feedback?

On the student work page, click on the "drawing" icon at the top right-hand corner of the page. The pen colors will appear at the bottom of the page. Select a color and begin writing on the student work. When you have completed your feedback, click the "paper" icon at the top right-hand corner of the page and click "Submit." The students now have access to your feedback.

How do I view previous student work and feedback?

Once you have entered STEMboard, select the classroom period for the desired student. Select the student's name. STEMboard categorizes the student work under the categories "Homework" and "Completed." Select the "Completed" tab to view the students' digital portfolio. To view the student work and teacher feedback, click the "drawing" icon at the top right-hand corner of the page.
